CGM: The Ultimate Etch-A-Sketch.

Borrowing the meme from Kerri:

Apparently in the last 48 hours I've taken an escalator:

To Arby's.

CGMs: they're like a life-and-death version of an Etch-A-Sketch. But, you know, without knobs or the ability to shake to erase. (Maybe we could get that in the Dexcom next gen?)

  1. I had an escalator last night (hence the mass consumption of Peepage), and then I had the "middle finger" when I peaked up out of range and then fell back into it, almost like diabetes was trying to screw with me.

Actually, I'm pretty sure diabetes was trying to screw with me. ;)

    I love this random meme.

  3. Loving that meme. On another note: How do you like your Dexcom?
I'm looking to get a dual pump & CGM system, being force-weaned off my Cozmo pump, and I'm not too crazy about Minimed. I've been looking at the Animas/Dexcom combo.
I've heard good things about the Dexcom CGM but what I want to hear is honesty. What are the down sides?

  4. Hey there! I'm a large fan of my Dexcom. It isn't a perfect solution, but it works well (most of the time) for me. If you search the CGM tag on this site, you'll find good with the bad - but if you have specific questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them. Shoot me an email at textingmypancreas at gmail dot com. :)
