Diabetes Is Like MC Hammer.

Can't touch this! Na na na na... na na... na na!

2 Legit! 2 Legit 2 Quit!

Aside from not going for a walk since last Thursday (though I can tell you that the four hours of yardwork Aaron and I did on Saturday TOTALLY COUNTED as a workout - I'm still sore!), I can't come up with a reason why I'm running on the higher side of things the past couple of days. (Or maybe that's the only reason I need?) I'm thankful that I'm not seeing a lot of big swings up and down, but I'd rather see those straight lines 50 - 100 points lower than they are, you know?

Even correction doses from my Humalog pen weren't budging these numbers.

Not even a new pump site this morning.

Not even alternate site injections!

I shake my fist at you, Diabetes. You're kind of being a jerk.

  1. Don't worry. If your BG is taking MC Hammer as a role model, it will come crashing down to almost nothing soon enough. (I hope it likes making infomercials.)

  2. So true- no rhyme or reason to it! Totally frustrating!!! Hang on there... It will all change soon enough!

  3. It's days like those that make me wonder if my insulin pump is conspiring against me, lol.

Tomorrow is a new day, so... also in the words of MC Hammer... Let's get it started.

  5. I am so right there with ya!! New site this morning, alternate site injections, shaking of fist.. still stuck above 200. In fact, my last two readings (one hour apart - no CGM) were 261 and 241 respectively. UGH!!

  6. Ha! I didn't realize you did a "Diabetes is like..." blog yesterday too. How do you like the Dexcom? I keep thinking I might want to try that...I haven't put on my MM cgm in over a year!
