T:slim Improv.

Sometimes you promptly lose the "keys" that come with your pump - the ones required to loosen the cartridge from the pump body when you need to change parts out - and really the job is only suited for a skinny, hard, plastic thing, so you have to improvise.

Welcome to The Pumpered Chef.

  2. I've used quarters, tokens from Dave & Buster's, and one time the very square-shaped edge of one of my work keys. I will say that I need more plastic thingies because they don't distress the aluminum edges of the pump. Good hacking here. :)

    1. Yes! I learned that the hard way. I tried to use the side of the file part of a nail clipper and it scratched the black coating of the pump body off in that spot. :(
