Guess who I'll be calling today? (Luckily I was able to pop that disc back in and it is still taking readings, but the functionality is, as they say, "wonky".)

  1. This happened to me last week. I've got a post waiting in the wings, but am waiting until I'm done with the HAWMC challenge. Poor little G4.

  2. It happened to us too. When I called for a replacement the guy asked for a credit card number in case "it looked like it was run over by a car". I was like, nooooo I'm not giving you my credit card number. So they replaced it for free. I keep it in the case all the time now. I hear this is happening a lot. I forget the website where I got the case but only 1 place makes them.

  4. Mine did the same thing after dropping on the tile floor and I got the same line 'in case it was run over by a car' (must be in their script). Mine was overnighted with no problems. I now keep mine in the original case it came with.

  5. On the "case" note... during the day, mine is always in the Tallygear case I have for it, but at night the vibrations won't be loud enough for me to hear if it stays in the case, so I have to remove it. Who knows when it actually got knocked loose!
